Nexstar Media Group is seeking a highly creative and organized Sales & Marketing Multimedia Specialist to join our team at FOX21/SOCO CW in Colorado Springs. In this fast-paced role, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team, managing projects, and creating compelling visual content for both broadcast and digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Production & Design:
• Edit and design client commercials using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop)
• Collaborate with the sales team and clients to develop engaging on-air commercials.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current production trends and techniques.
• Edit both short-form and long-form video projects.
• Project Management & Support:
• Assist the General Manager, Creative Services Director, News Director, and Director of Sales, with project management tasks to include:
• Being the liaison between all departments in coordinating station wide initiatives
• Coordinating Trade Partnerships to make sure all deliverables are met for both parties.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with frequent changes in direction and deadlines.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure project success.
• Sales & Traffic Support:
• Assist the sales team in creating and preparing presentations for clients, including gathering necessary materials and data.
• Enter sales orders accurately and efficiently into the Wide Orbit system, ensuring all details are correct.
• Provide administrative support to the sales team, including organizing sales materials, building proposals and presentations, and organizing sales events.
• Serve as a backup for the traffic liaison, assisting with traffic-related tasks as needed, including working a commercial log, uploading commercials etc.
Qualifications:
• Video production experience, preferably in a local television station or similar environment
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro and Photoshop
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Wide Orbit or similar broadcast traffic systems is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record (occasional travel required)
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts.
Benefits:
Compensation range of $42,000 to $45,000, commensurate with experience.
