American Public Media Group, which includes Minnesota Public Radio (MPR), American Public Media (APM), Southern California Public Radio (SCPR), and Clearspring Enterprises, is the largest station-based public media organization in the nation. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Senior Vice President and Chief Partnerships and Revenue Officer and their team.
This is not solely an administrative role; it is a strategic and facilitative one that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role. It requires a high degree of discretion, self-direction and resourcefulness combined with strong emotional intelligence and solid analytical skills. This role is expected to communicate changes in prioritization and decision-making efficiently and be capable of carrying out multiple projects while effectively prioritizing tasks according to the needs of the SVP and the organization at large.
Expected Compensation Range: $80,000 - $95,000/yr. Exact salary determined by experience and education related to the role, organizational compensation structure and internal equity.

Your Role / Core Job Functions:
Administrative:
• Enable SVP’s ability to meet deadlines and deliverables through strategic calendar management, prioritizing inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts; making judgements and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Ensure the SVP’s time is leveraged effectively ensuring agendas are set and that the SVP is prepared in advance
• Supports alignment, planning and execution for critical path meetings and deliverables including board committees, quarterly leadership meetings, annual planning and budget cycles and team meetings and events.
• Provide high-level administrative support and assistance to the SVP and/or other assigned leadership, including development of presentations and reports
• Work closely with the SVP to keep well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities. Act as a ''barometer,'' having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CPRO updated. Anticipate CPRO’s needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc.
• Proactive identification of issues that could impact the successful execution of the SVP’s commitments, elevating those issues about which the SVP should be aware and framing/positioning ideas to resolve the problem/mitigate the risk
• Serve as liaison between the SVP’s team and Human Resources to support onboarding and offboarding
• Assist in hosting recurring team meetings
• Manage special projects and assignments on-demand
• Work with the SVP to ensure prioritization alignment within the CPRO’s team and that deadlines and deliverables are met
• Serve as a departmental subject matter expert, handling inquiries and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
• Partner with SVP’s direct reports on project coordination and business administration
• General administrative management including travel planning, expense reports and timecard approval
• Collaborate with Executive Assistant team to ensure executive team alignment and support work that has enterprise-wide impact as well as provide cross-team support for other executive as needed
Department Specific: Here are the items that will differentiate each role depending on ET needs
• Manages, collaborates, and oversees the departmental forecast and budgeting cycle, ensuring monthly budgets are audited and that the SVP and senior leaders are meeting key planning cycle deadlines.
• Ensures partnerships and revenue department KPI’s, pacing, sales forecasts and pipelines are reported accurately and on time for organization and department scorecards. Report critical data and outcomes in graphical presentations. Escalated to SVP and senior leaders when metrics are offtrack.

Education
/Experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of administrative, operations or project management experience and/or a demonstrated transferable skillset
