SOCIAL MEDIA/DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER
We're looking for a savvy social media addict with a genuine passion for music.This candidate will be responsible for community management across Universal Music Publishing's social communities and supporting the marketing and communications team on digital and social elements of campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Primarily focus on community management across all social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, Snapchat and LinkedIn among others). Ensure consistency and quality of content. Support the company's marketing and creative/A&R objectives.
• Manage interactive marketing and social projects and processes including strategy,
content development and execution, budgets and timelines, competitive tracking and
analysis, creative and all approvals.
• Work with cross functional team members to develop superior digital and social content
that helps portray the company's unique voice and stories. Develop plans on a timely
basis that meet both the needs of the target audience as well as the brand's
marketing objectives. Write and proof copy, maintain all aspects of content
management (including creation or archiving of images, video and other digital assets.
• Real Time Marketing – ensure UMPG social communications remain at the forefront of
popular culture and industry trends. Keep the team informed of the latest innovation and
best practices within social marketing.
• Manage monthly reporting and report out with key stakeholders
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Related Work Experience
• 3 years digital/social marketing experience required
Qualifications:
• Thorough grasp of word of mouth/digital marketing, a strong social media footprint,
and acute knowledge of emerging trends and technologies
• In-depth knowledge with proven metrics of the social media universe including
YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, LinkedIn and more
-Technical knowledge of social media dashboards, platforms and software
