News Anchor/Producer/MMJ

This is a Full Time Job

Immediate opening for a news anchor / producer / MMJ. Applicants must have no less than 3 years' experience as a solo anchor, be willing and able to cover stories/community issues in the field, have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively with fellow staff members. This IS NOT an entry level position.

This anchor will work in a multi-station environment and will also be producing newscasts. From time to time, the Anchor may be assigned to cover stories either independently or with a photographer.

If you want to simply sit at a desk and read the news, this job is not for you. We're looking for someone who's engaged, involved, and eager to participate as a member of our team on a daily basis. We want someone who's social media savvy, someone who's happy and willing to post multiple stories to our websites daily.

Anchor will serve in a leadership capacity to guide newsroom personnel on story assignment and selection. Position demands only the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
