Part-time Promotions Editor/Producer

Multi-TV station environment in Baton Rouge, La. is seeking a Part-time Promotions Editor/Producer. Will edit, tag, and dub episodic promos, ingest and segment promo spots for multiple stations, checking volume and video quality of promos.

Will also assist in the production of projects and participate in events that may require an adjusted work schedule. May also create and manage snipes for multiple TV stations.

May assist the promotions department and perform other non-essential duties as assigned by the Promotions Director. High School diploma/college /technical school preferred.

Must have hands-on operational knowledge of all equipment used in-studio and on-location. Previous working experience as an Editor or Producer is preferred.

Must have hands-on knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and Microsoft Word and Excel.

Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and strong creative skills.

Must have an ability to handle multiple projects at one time, work under stress, and meet deadlines.

Must be comfortable around tape machines, editing equipment and cameras.

Must have a willingness to learn and take direction.
