SUMMARY OF POSITION
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director HR and Organization Development for the HR, International & Corporate Groups department. Position is responsible for the full range of Human Resources activities and programs with a heavy emphasis on organizational development supporting Corporate and Distribution businesses worldwide.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively works with Division management to gain and maintain an understanding of business needs in order to effectively assess and support Human Resource needs.
Provides strategic and advisory role in various functional HR areas in particular on issues related to change management, organizational design and people development for the Corporate and Distributions Groups.
Drives the successful implementation of the Org Development strategy through partnerships with the HR leaders and senior management.
Works with the Org Effectiveness Centers of Excellence group to implement development and training programs, facilitate coaching engagements, conduct talent reviews and support other OD strategies.
Provides leadership in the effective and timely implementation and delivery of Human Resources, Comp & Benefits and Employee policies, programs, practices, federal and state regulations governing employment and Labor Relations agreements and practices.
Maintains current knowledge of market and industry trends.
Provides guidance and support to clients on Performance Management including performance expectations and feedback, coaching for performance, reinforcing the Performance Appraisal process, support in development of plans to improve performance deficiencies.
Performs special projects as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field required.
Strong communication skills (oral and written) required.
Excellent relationship and influencing skills at senior levels essential.
Ability to work and manage in ambiguity.
Must be able to operate at both strategic and detailed level.
Ability to understand and interpret business needs is essential.
Analytical skills.
Must be able to meet deadlines and respond in a high-pressure fast paced environment.
At least 7 years of Organization Development experience required.
HR generalist experience a plus.
Experience of managing both large scale and small projects to a successful conclusion is critical.
Industry experience helpful.
Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with senior leaders and other levels of personnel.
Must be able to organize and prioritize.
Must be able to pay close attention to details.
Must be able to work well under time constraints.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
