Summary
The Marketing division of Broadway Across America is seeking a motivated individual to join our in-house creative team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is incredibly creative, collaborative, and is always focused on creating assets that are attractive and functional. Our creative team is responsible for laying out and designing marketing collateral for our regional marketing team's campaigns including responsive emails, HTML5 display ads, print, outdoor, social media graphics, video editing, etc. The deliverables created by this position would be utilized to execute marketing and advertising plans for hundreds of performances of touring Broadway productions in 25+ cities across North America.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with concepting and designing and/or coding marketing collateral, including: email, digital display, print, outdoor, brochures, direct mail, video, social media graphics, etc. creating balance between the aesthetic of the show's key artwork and the local brand's identity
Receive feedback from the Senior Director, Digital & Creative; Manager, Creative Services and members of the regional marketing teams and make all necessary changes
Prioritizing and managing own workload to see all projects through to completion, from concept to the finished piece
Collaborating with regional marketing teams to support marketing initiatives with collateral

Knowledge and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite - must be strongly proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
Proficiency in HTML and CSS
Knowledge of HTML5 animation and/or JavaScript a plus
Motion graphics and video editing experience with proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro a plus
Education and/or Experience
Graphic design work experience - freelance or full/part-time/internship employment - required
Undergraduate or associate's degree in graphic design - preferred
Communication Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret creative briefs and HTML/CSS code
Ability to effectively present information to national and regional marketing team members
Critical Thinking
Understand, resolve conflict, and create balance between competing priorities of production and local brand identities
Solve layout and information design challenges within specifications of requested deliverable
Create deliverables with a mind on the accessibility of those assets by audiences with different physical and cognitive abilities
