Our talent-led production company is seeking Part-Time Interns for the Summer and Fall of 2024. Internships are in-person in Los Angeles, CA, paid, and offered for school credit.
Position Details:
- Summer Development Intern (1): Available for approximately 20 hours per week over 10-12 weeks, this program will run from Late-May/early June to Mid-August (flexible dates). Ideal for rising Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors enrolled in a bachelor's program at an accredited institution, pursuing degrees related to the Entertainment Industry. Must be eligible for School Credit.
- Fall Development Interns (2): Available for approximately 15-20 hours per week over 10-14 weeks, this program will run from Late-August/early September to Early/Mid-December (flexible dates). Perfect for Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors enrolled in a bachelor's program at an accredited institution, pursuing degrees related to the Entertainment Industry. Must be eligible for School Credit.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about film and television, with a deep interest in storytelling, a positive attitude, and a strong eagerness to learn about development. In this role, you will shadow the team, acquire a comprehensive assistant skill set, refine your taste, practice pitching material, engage in extensive reading, perfect your script coverage skills, and gain insight into the industry as a whole and the development process. By the end of the summer, we hope you will depart with confidence, excellent assistant skills, a clear understanding of the connection between classroom theory and workplace practice, and a better sense of your personal career goals, whether they lie in development or elsewhere.

What You'll Do:
- Shadow our experienced team and learn the ins-and-outs of being an executive assistant, development executive, and producer.
- Gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a production company.
- Assist with script reading, coverage reports, and material/IP coverage for both feature films and television projects.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and pitch your ideas to the team.
- Collaborate on short and long projects alongside your supervisor.
- Immerse yourself in the creative process.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work on-site in Los Angeles, California during program dates.
- Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a bachelor's program related to the Entertainment Industry.
- Eligible for school credit
- Strong desire to pursue a career in the Entertainment Industry, particularly in development.
- Excellent writing and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Enthusiasm for film and television is a must!
