Fairchild Fashion (WWD and Footwear News) is looking for a whip-smart social media editor who fill in for a maternity leave.

• Analytical thinker
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all WWD's and Footwear News' social media platforms
• Use SocialFlow to schedule posts on Facebook and X
• Identify the most engaging content from WWD.com and reporter submitted video to post on Instagram Feed
• Use Later.com to schedule posts (Paid Partnerships, Instagram Feed, LinkedIn), add link in bio
• Use WWD and FN custom Canva templates for Instagram
• Ensure Pinterest content quota is met — 3 videos weekly, 30 pins weekly minimum for each brand (WWD and FN)
• Schedule 5 BeautyInc posts weekly
• Coordinate with social contributors to deploy content across social platforms during tentpole events (Paris Fashion Week, Milan Men's/Pitti Uomo, Paris Olympics)
• Work with the marketing and sales teams on Instagram Livestreams, Paid Partnerships posts, and pulling performance metrics
• Attend industry events and cover shoots to capture video for social
• Provide weekly analytics reports for all-staff meeting (Facebook, X, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Social Traffic Page Views)
Skills:
• Video-editing
• Well-versed in Social Flow
• Well-versed in Canva and design sofware
• Experience using Google Analytics
