Intern - Public Relations

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Prominent entertainment and lifestyle public relations firm in agoura hills seeks part time intern. Need someone completely dedicated and competent, can deal with a hectic environment, a self starter, and someone who loves working with people—but can handle time alone on a project. We want someone who will treat this position as a real job, give 110% while in the office, there is opportunity for growth for standout interns. Must be willing to make a four month commitment.

This is the perfect position for recent grads looking to get their foot in the door in the entertainment public relations industry, or for students looking to gain college internship credit - we are more than willing to fill out internship paperwork for interns, and write letters of recommendation when needed.

Required time in the office: 20 hours a week: monday - friday, 4 hours a day, either 10 am - 2 pm or 2 pm - 6 pm.

Requirements: solid communication skills, attention to detail , friendly and savvy people skills, own laptop (mac or pc) with word

Duties include: covering phones and making calls, packaging of press kits, press kit and cd mailings, heavy online research in the entertainment field, maintenance of excel databases, creation of excel databases, helping assistant in the office, errands as needed, event assistance when needed and some writing assignments.


Please be microsoft office proficient - previous experience in the entertainment industry a plus / previous office experience and/or writing experience a plus.
