The content team at Paramount and Pluto TV Canada function within a strong working environment modeled around communication, collaboration and respect. This team, many working across 2 platforms - an SVOD streaming service and a free ad supported service (FAST) - works within the international division of Paramount Global and with that collaborate with our counterparts around the world. We are seeking a candidate for a 2-year internship, located in Toronto and working in-office within a hybrid model. The successful candidate will work within a highly creative environment, participate across numerous departments and contribute to our streaming success while evolving with our team of One Paramount.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform administrative duties in support of the Vice President, Senior Director and their team.
• To coordinate directly with 3rd Party content partners to organize high volume of content and to ensure deals are in place before start dates.
• To coordinate between P and Pluto and Acquisitions/Business Affairs to ensure deals are summarized for contracting and rights management.
• To assist with the coordination and distribution of necessary regulatory commitments, deadlines and correspondence.
• To create regulatory worksheets, tracking documents and workflow systems as required and in coordination with Business Affairs
• To coordinate deal memos to ensure all administrative details are accurate, tracked and logged internally for both P and Pluto agreements.
• To coordinate incoming pitches from third parties, for all Canadian (CDN) content, specific to original development, pre-sales and acquisitions.
• As required, project support to Marketing and Communications team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Attention to detail, work ethic and excellent judgment
• Proactive self-starter and team player, ability to learn quickly and be flexible
• Proficieny in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Desire and interest in working across media and entertainment platforms
