Overview:
As a part of the Talent Relations, Events and Awards department, the coordinator will provide administrative support to the head of the department and is also responsible for assisting in the development, creation and execution of Paramount original campaigns across department areas of focus. As a part of the wider communications team, the talent relations, events and awards teams collaborate most often with publicity, marketing and external studio counterparts. The ideal candidate will have their finger on the pulse for pop culture and influencers trends, a passion for entertainment awards and knowledge of hospitality/lifestyle popular and emerging brands. This position is largely self-prioritized based on the daily changing needs of the SVP and the unexpected requests or deadlines triggered by internal or external requests. Organization, time management and prioritizing are the key elements in decision-making for success in this position and to the overall effectiveness of the department. The coordinator must be responsible in deciding when to notify others of issues on the many day-to-day requests that may arise. Some travel is required.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Provides administrative support to the department head including high volume calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements and processing of monthly expenses
• Cross departmental assistance including deliveries, routing and filing invoices, processing and tracking contracts, internal gifting, help with presentations and facilitating the flow of confidential and timely information throughout the department
• Wider team meeting organization between the awards department, internal departments and studio partners
• Award gifting support in partnership with the head of the department and the awards team
• Serves as support on all internal department events
• Assists in onboarding new department employees
• Takes on individual projects as time permits including: special projects, event prep and onsite support and serves as back up for guest list management for events
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 years related professional experience in an in-house agency, studio or network setting preferred
• College degree in Communications or a similar field preferred

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and work autonomously
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, prioritization and administrative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly responsible, discreet and sensitive to quick turnaround deadlines
• Extraordinary attention to detail
• Proactive mentality and ability to anticipate needs a plus
• Proficiency in G Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong interest in awards, events, talent relations and entertainment/pop culture

Hiring Salary Range: $42,400.00 - 60,000.00.
