This is a Full Time Job
The Director of Guest Bookings will be the daily guest booking lead for TNT Sports, including linear sports shows airing on TNT, TBS and truTV and Bleacher Report, the leading digital/social destination for fans. This person will be the primary point of contact with TNT Sports' internal creative services team, coordinating booking needs for a variety of specialty shoots. Additionally, the role will include managing talent relationships and facilitating logistical support for all productions.
Examples of guest booking work include guest booking for linear programming, including TNT Sports content airing on truTV, Bleacher Report (NFL Draft, Taylor Rooks X, B/R portfolio brands, B/R streams, Broadcast Boys, etc.), and select podcasts (such as The Steam Room).
The Director of Guest Bookings will also be responsible for managing any external resources, such as freelance guest booking support.
Role Accountabilities...
• Identify and strategize with internal teams on talent needs for TNT Sports' various shows, content, events, and initiatives.
• Maintains and build strong relationships with agents, managers, publicists, and talent across the sports and entertainment industry.
• Manages day to day oversight of guest booking logistics across TNT Sports properties.
• Booking travel accommodations for talent communicates with talent on itineraries and logistics, assist with prospecting future guests for TNT Sports properties.
• Working closely across internal departments to provide detailed information in a timely manner.
• Travel to TNT Sports shows and events to handle to manage talent and talent logistics.
Qualifications & Experiences...
• 6-10 years of relevant work experience managing and booking talent
• Extensive relationships across the sports and entertainment industry
• Experience negotiating talent deals and contracts
• College degree or equivalent experience required
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Software
• Have ability to pay close attention to detail and have excellent organization skills
• Work well under time constraints, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective communication, verbally and in writing
• Ability to travel
