This is a Full Time Job
UTA's Entertainment & Culture Marketing (E&CM) European department in the London office is seeking an Executive to help expand the roster of clients. New clients will be both on a retainer and project base, spanning the breadth of entertainment and culture marketing. This will include branded entertainment and product placement for film, TV and music videos, talent partnerships and co-marketing around entertainment IP.
UTA E&CM team has developed and launched high-impact, creative initiatives for Ancestry.com, Coca-Cola, Google, Gymshark, Montblanc, Corona and LinkedIn, among many others. Marketing brings a wide lens and industry expertise to clients across entertainment and technology, connecting some of the most influential brands to culture.
The ideal candidate will have established relationships with key decision makers within brands (CMOs and empowered Content and Partnership Directors globally (specifically EMEA). An ability to sell an unusual angle and the capability to bring the US model to Europe, ensuring cultural sensitivity across local audiences is key to the success of this role. Good instinct for which brands have strong story possibilities would also be beneficial. This is a great opportunity for an established individual who wants to use their skills in new business to expand and grow their client base in a small but dynamic team.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Work collaboratively with the E&CM team in the UK as well as with US and global colleagues.
• Build visibility of UTA's E&CM offering via outreach initiatives – dinners, events, conferences, personal relationships.
• Identify opportunities in the entertainment landscape for our existing and new clients.
• Create innovative and creative outreach ideas to bring our vision to life.
• Work across departments to create and expand ideas for brands.
• Implement tools to demonstrate the value and return on investment of the work that UTA can bring to a brand.
• Track all new business and update the global team on a regular basis.
• Work within compliance guidelines to ensure clients are protected correctly.
What You Will Need
• Experience within a Senior New Business role in the publishing or entertainment industry.
• Experience working with brands in the content, partnership or entertainment spaces.
• Client-focused mindset.
• A real passion for entertainment (TV, film, music, art), a knowledge of culturally relevant trends and talent.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders of varying seniority.
• Connections across the industry, ideally inside brands.
• Can-do, positive attitude and willing to ''go the extra mile''.
• Vision to identify new clients and match them with brands.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly intense client service work environment.
• Highly proficient technical skills with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote).
• Familiarity with video conferencing systems (Zoom, Slack, Concur, and Workday).
• Experience building substantial business cases for brands and working through full project lifecycle.
• Ambition to grow culture marketing as a discipline at UTA.
• Understanding of UTA's Client Roster.
