Do you have experience with music content creation, marketing, sales, and business development?
This position is designed for motivated and experienced people with some knowledge of the music entertainment industry.
This is a new music technology app company. This position is contracted as an internship. All candidates should have reliable internet, video-call, and telephone services for communication as this is a remote opportunity (virtual/telework).
We are currently in development for our tech app and we are now focused on getting people signed up onto our waitlist, establishing partnerships with music companies, obtaining sales, and obtaining customers for our preview educational music industry course which will give people an introduction to a portion of our music tech app.
We are looking for intern staff to work on a virtual / remote basis to support the company's work in content creation, sales, marketing, and business development.
As part of this job, you will be involved in content creation and acquiring new clients/customers and developing new product/service marketing/sales strategies. Detail orientation and self-organization will be needed to be fully successful.
You should be able to create content remotely and help to increase profits with our products and services. This is a commission-only internship position which means that the perfect candidate must be aggressive. There are opportunities to obtain bonuses for superior performance. This is an immediate opening. Your job will be to create content, initiate contact for sales, follow-up, and lock in an interest in our products and services. Constant follow-ups, meetings, account management, closing sales, content creation, and marketing are recommended in order to ensure steady orders from potential clients and establishing new accounts.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Generate new leads by networking, cold calling, emailing, office visits, solo mailing, etc.
2. Make appointments with key decision makers and conduct meetings with them.
3. Create and post content about our company, services, and products on your social networks and for company social networks, marketing materials, and advertisements.
4. Maintain and update an account/lead database and share with Company Executive Board to keep them updated.
5. Provide to Marketing & Sales Director and Company Executive Board first hand feedback and recommendations on our marketing/sales efforts based on direct experiences with customers and potential clients.
6. To solicit independent businesses, major companies, and individuals for purpose of Company exposure, investment, and sponsorship/endorsement.
7. To work with the Marketing & Sales Director and the VP / Director Of Staff to create a sales and marketing team in which you will supervise by bringing aboard sales reps and marketing reps.
8. To network to make connections for company benefit and growth.
To be successful in this position, you will need and be expected to uphold the following criteria:
-Must be capable of relationship development, opportunity identification and pipeline tracking and building.
-Experience in sales/marketing/content creation.
-Have the ability to sell a product such as music courses, music services, music app services, negotiate endorsements, obtain sponsors, or develop music business partnerships.
-Use excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
-Posses strong sales personality and techniques.
-Must be a team player; results oriented.
-Coordination with Sales Team and company executives is critical to success.
-Must be tenacious and success-oriented, a self-starter with high energy.
-Strong telephone and confrontational skills required.

Additional Information
A start date of May 2024 and end date of August 2024 for the internship (rough estimate) but could be longer. The weekly time commitment will vary depending upon assignments but could be 24 hrs a week or more. It can be 3-5 days a week or vary depending upon your schedule. Credit can be given for the internship (depending upon your school and their requirements)
