We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry, a proven track record of successful marketing campaigns, and the ability to leverage digital and traditional marketing channels to elevate our brand and our artists. This role will be crucial in driving the growth and visibility of our label and its roster of artists. This position will receive master royalty points and equity shares in the company depending on experience and/or abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the label and its artists.
Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, PR, etc.).
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform marketing strategies.
Brand Management:
Strengthen and maintain the label's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials.
Collaborate with artists to develop and execute branding and marketing plans that align with their artistic vision and career goals.
Digital Marketing:
Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media management, content creation, SEO, and online advertising.
Utilize data analytics to measure campaign performance, optimize strategies, and report on ROI.
Partnerships and PR:
Establish and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to enhance visibility and create promotional opportunities.
Oversee PR campaigns and manage press relations to secure coverage in key media outlets.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging creativity and idea-sharing.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact and ROI.
Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors and service providers.
Event Promotion:
Plan and execute promotional events, tours, and live performances to support album releases and artist exposure.
Collaborate with event coordinators and venues to ensure successful execution and promotion.
