20th Television is s eeking a Coordinator to support the Post Production department by tracking and coordinating information, paperwork, resources, and communicating with individual television productions, the post p roduction department, as well as other departments.
Please note that this role is currently located in the Century City offices. The team is expected to transfer to Burbank by end of 2025.
Responsibilities:
• Track and file all incoming post production information and paperwork by show, including credits, VFX and music documents, manage distribution charts, and maintain department calendars for both current and future post production forecasting.
• Track post-production deliveries to the various distribution portals.
• Arrange an d coordinate meetings between post - production and production staff .
• Lead kick off meetings with post production teams, walking them through the studio's manual of policies and guidelines.
• Coordinate and manage deliveries for screenings and special events, verifying with Content Security and DMS to provide necessary assets through proper pathways.
• Generate payroll start paperwork for Post/Editorial staff s on shows.
• Maintain resume database , check availability of Post staff in database as necessary , and provide recommendations among available candidates .
• Assist Post Executives with creating Post Calendars, if requested.
• Gather biweekly post cost trackers (Labor/Music/VFX costs)
• Oversee the PIX process by c reat ing PIX lists at the direction of Post Executives , seeking PIX list approvals, working with P IX support staff as necessary , and consult with the Post department Manager overseeing PIX for guidance , as needed.
• Update Production Status Report and DTS Report regularly with info from weekly post chart distribution.
• Assist with kickoff meetings, Post Wrap meetings, and archival of materials.
• Distribute and save deliver y paperwork to BOX , SharePoint, or Scenechronize , as required .
• Update Post - Production information on AirTable, as necessary.
• Other tasks or projects as assigned as the above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities this role will entail .
Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience working in post production on a television show or studio.
• Excellent communication skills required and the ability to communicate precise information to and from multiple sources.
• Must have experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and some budgeting and scheduling knowledge. Basic math skills required.
• Must be able to multi-task while dealing with many different and sometimes conflicting needs and priorities.
• Must be able to follow-up on tasks and information with precise accuracy and speed.
• Ability to meet people and make connections while instilling confidence and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a corporate office environment in an entertainment and television related company highly preferred.
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree or other film/television-related undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $52,000 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
