The Associate Producer I will support the graphics and content production for ESPN's live event coverage, with responsibilities across multiple remote sports productions. The position is part of ESPN's Non-Traditional Production Team, which works directly with collegiate conference partners on both linear and digital productions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support graphic productions during live events from school control rooms.
• Provide feedback on graphics for linear and digital school productions.
• Evaluate school production capabilities to meet ESPN standards.
• Collaborate with ESPN Sport Leaders and Graphic Managers to implement sport guidelines for school productions.
• Assist the Producer in designing and executing on-air graphics for storylines in remote telecasts.
• Use sports knowledge to help determine graphic content and concepts for assigned events.
• Coordinate production schedules, facilities, and contribute to creative storylines for telecasts.
• Track production schedules, budgets, and manage production assets.
• Mentor Content Associates and Production Assistants.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience with remote sports or event production.
• Proficiency with the Ross Xpression graphics platform and live event production.
• Strong knowledge of sports, sports history, and the processes for remote sports productions.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple high-volume projects and adapt to frequent changes.
