Job Summary:

Disney’s Corporate Legal Department seeks an Executive Support Professional for the Copyright Division of the Intellectual Property Group. This division manages copyright registrations for The Walt Disney Company, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, and supports anti-piracy, litigation, and trademark issues globally.

This position is based in Burbank and provides executive support to the Director of Copyright Administration and their team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and handle light phone calls.
  • Interact with executives and their teams to obtain or provide legal documents.
  • Prepare and process expense and copyright reports, as well as schedules for distribution.
  • Track information using spreadsheets or task management software.
  • Provide office support including research, organizing, filing, scanning, and mailing.
  • Input and manage data and digital assets in the Copyright & Recordation Database.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years as an administrative assistant at the Director level or Library Administration Experience
  • Experience in office management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large data sets
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
  • Proficient with computers, phones, and office equipment
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and familiar with SAP
  • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism when working with senior professionals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Library & Information Science is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with network or studio business or legal issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and tracking skills.
  • Client-service oriented, with keen attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly.
  • Dependable in handling confidential information.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and can-do spirit.

Required Education

  • A four-year college degree

Preferable Education

  • Library Science Degree

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
