Internship Duration: 2-4 months
Time/Days Required: 10-15 hours per week during our business hours which are M-F 10-6:30pm pst

THE ROLE:
We are seeking an intern who is passionate and knowledgeable about the music industry. This is an unpaid internship and academic credit is required in order to be considered for this opportunity. As an intern, you will have the chance to work with an experienced music manager and other industry professionals while learning the ins and outs of artist management. Candidates should have a high level of interpersonal skills in order to handle varied personalities, sensitive and timely situations, and confidential matters. Any experience working with talent and/or celebrities is a big plus and strong candidates will have previous experience working for or interning with another company in the entertainment or music industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist managers with research involving various projects relating to clients
• Understanding best practices involved with managing artist day to day schedule
• Prioritizing deliverables, managing project timelines and deadlines
• Learn how to manage email accounts for clients and management team, vetting inquiries and fielding them appropriately
• Assist with thorough research of new artists
• Organize and maintain an artist calendar of deadlines, meetings, and appointments
• Build and maintain external industry relationships
• Assist managers with marketing and promoting various projects/artists through social media
• Create spreadsheets that organize your various assigned projects and tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate currently enrolled in a college or university and receiving academic credit for this internship
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills in order to handle varied personalities, sensitive and timely situations
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Interest in the music and entertainment industry is a must
• Leadership experience on or off campus is a plus
