Assistant Editor

This is a Full Time Job

We are looking for an experienced Nashville based Assistant Editor for a full time position who is quick and technically savvy. You would be responsible for preparing and organizing projects materials through all stages of the digital, nonlinear video editing process; supporting editors and producers. You must be VERY detail oriented, with the ability to work on your own or with a producer or Editor. Experience working with high profile musicians is a plus, as most projects revolve around concerts and social media content. We also film at festivals and concerts at various locations around the country/globe, so the ability to travel for a week or so at a time is a plus.

The ideal candidate would have the following:

• 3+ years of experience in Post Production
• Must have strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and AVID workflow, as well as the ability to work in After Effects and Photoshop on occasion. DaVinci Resolve experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Post Production workflows and procedures. We are Mac based, so you must know how to work with them.
• Strong working knowledge of multi camera setup and syncing (usually between 15-30 cameras).
• Strong attention to detail and incredibly organized.
• Experience overseeing media management, importing/exporting, transcoding, asset management, project archiving.
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Able to multitask under tight deadlines.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical problems is a MUST.
-Experience in both an Offline and Online setting preferred, with the ability to Upres/Conform offline sequences to HD Online resolution.
• Full understanding of workflows including RED, Alexa, Sony, Black Magic, etc.
