SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Scenic PM role includes, but is not limited to:
• Working on multiple events simultaneously
• Attend regular meetings with the assigned Production Team to ensure all the scope of work is accurate
• Populate pull list for assigned events in collaboration w/ Production Team to ensure accurate information
• Direct line of communication between the production team and shop manager to ensure the latest updated info/needs for events/pull lists
• Liaise with trucking to ensure event load-in, strike, pre/post-pick-up, deliveries are scheduled
• Supervise trucks are loaded with all scenic, technical, and décor needs as outlined on the pull list
• Overseeing all event items being purchased, built, painted, or wrapped
• Sourcing materials from specialty vendors
• Coordinating with Shop Manager on crew productivity, ensuring projects are being executed on time and with accuracy
• Overseeing all event items being cleaned, wrapped, labeled, and loaded
• Coordinating with Scenic Coordinator on crew needs
- Crew Schedule
- Report Crew work hours
- Oversee crew travel
• Responsible for briefing the on-site crew on each event to ensure everyone is aware of all elements and a plan is in place for execution on-site
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be flexible, able to manage last-minute changes, and work well under pressure
• Carpentry knowledge
• Organized, self-starter, and team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & on Mac
• Ability to read and understand line plans & renderings
• Ability & wiliness to work weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with a high level of professionalism
• Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
• Spanish is a plus!
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Must be able to work weekends, nights, and occasionally holidays
• Typical weeks require a 40-70-hour commitment
• Heavy lifting required up to 50lbs
• The job requires employees to perform basic arithmetic accurately and compute rates and percentages
