Senior Financial Analyst TV Production

This is a Full Time Job

This is a hands-on position in a dynamic television production unit. As a key member of the Financial Reporting Group, you will perform essential finance/accounting duties in an energetic, team environment. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.

• Provide detailed revenue and cost variance analysis for Twentieth Century Fox TV(TCFTV) senior management and 21st Century Fox.

• Perform account reconciliations.

• Prepare journal entries.

• Compile financial information for external auditors and ad hoc projects.

You must be a proven top performer with the confidence and capability to work both independently and contribute to team projects while demonstrating a track record of success and increasing responsibility. Requirements include:

• Effective verbal and written communicator with superior organizational skills.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, under minimal supervision while effectively meeting deadlines. 

• An appetite to learn and seek ways to improve processes.

• Strong desire to consistently provide high-quality work.

• Ability to be pro-active in resolving issues. Innovative thinker.

• Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of professional experience.

• High level of professionalism and ethics.

• High mathematical and analytical skills required. 

• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PeopleSoft and Hyperion a plus.

• Experience in the entertainment industry and CPA is a plus.

• An interest in the entertainment industry and especially television is essential.
