Caption Media Services is a full service Closed Captioning, Subtitling and Transcription Company located in the heart of Burbank, servicing a wide range of clientele which include major Cable and Television Networks, Notable Studios, Streaming Media Broadcasters, Production Companies, VOD and DVD Distributors.
We are currently seeking experienced Caption Editors and Transcribers to join our team. Applicants must have a strong command of the Spanish and English language, pop-culture sayings and idioms.
Responsibilities include:
• Creation of closed caption/subtitle files and transcripts, including transcription of spoken dialogue, sound effects and timing.
• QCing and Proofing of projects (yours and outside files) applying required industry standards and various client and delivery specifications.
Qualifications:
• Experience as a Caption/Subtitle Editor and Transcriber required.
• Proficient in spelling, grammar and punctuation. • Must type a minimum 70-100 wpm.
• Detailed orientated.
