Temporary Brand Assurance Stock Associate

Marvel Entertainment is looking for a dedicated stock associate for our Brand Assurance Department stockroom. We oversee every Marvel product from concept to worldwide release. Candidates will have hands on experience with every product we review, documenting and archiving a wide range of submissions from toys to children's apparel. This is a fast paced and exciting environment that is ideal for the right person who has an interest in Marvel and the licensing business.

Responsibilities• Handle the daily arrival of new Marvel product submissions at various stages of completion
• Accurately receive and stock merchandise
• Photographing and logging in all Marvel inventory products into our computer system
• Researching each submission, and ensuring that they have the correct corresponding documents
• Handle and resolve issues pertaining to Marvel inventory, such as completing missing forms or incomplete data
• Take charge of inventory deliveries
• Assist other team members with questions
• Maintains work areas to promote a safe working environment
• Protects company assets by ensuring adherence to all loss prevention procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications• Candidates must be highly organized, always on-time, detail-oriented and dedicated
• Speaks to colleagues and clients in a respectful and thoughtful manner
• Has demonstrated attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, creative problem solving, organizational, and time management skills
• Able to adhere to tight-deadlines oriented environment with a high volume of work
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and to be on your feet most of the day. Physical activities/manual work includes bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong basic math skills and solid PC computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications
• Have Knowledge of Marvel characters and Marvel products.
• Are Multilingual

Required Education Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED plus 2-3 years of mailroom or stockroom experience is required. College or university degree helpful, but not required.
