Director, Acquisitions – Lifetime & LMN
Responsibilities:
• Vet television movie concepts, read scripts, review cuts, and provide creative feedback.
• Develop and maintain efficient organizational workflows to track and meet production goals.
• Track, coordinate, and manage movie rights and distribution deals across internal departments.
• Review external acquisitions, determine the best platform, and negotiate rights.
• Build and maintain relationships with producers, international buyers, output partners, and creative talent.
Requirements:
• Experience: 3+ years in a director-level television production or development role.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong creative instincts and an understanding of television movie acquisitions and production.
• Technical Skills: Experience in project tracking, contract negotiation, script evaluation, and managing distribution deals.
