Role:
The EVP, Head of Corporate Development & Strategy will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of A+E Networks. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the President & Chairman of the company, sitting on the Executive Team. The EVP will lead corporate development activities, including M&A, investments, and organic growth initiatives, while managing a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Board Management: Develop materials and financial projections to communicate business performance to external stakeholders.
- M&A and Investments: Lead mergers, acquisitions, and investments from strategy and due diligence to execution and integration.
- Strategic Projects: Collaborate with the executive team to shape corporate strategy and lead special projects.
- Driving Growth: Lead new business launches and consult with other divisions to amplify innovation.
- Leadership: Manage and lead the Corporate Development team, demonstrating leadership through innovation and creativity.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in leading and managing transactions in-house.
- Strong skills in financial analysis, deal structuring, and project management.
- Experience launching new media initiatives (e.g., DTC Media, Studio Operations).
- Proven track record of working across multiple regions and industries.

Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or consulting.
- 10+ years of transactional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in linear television.
- 5+ years of experience managing teams.
- Ability to travel to Stamford, CT or New York City as needed, often on short notice.
Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $422,593 to $507,111, with a 40% annual incentive target. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare and 401k matching.
