Job Description
THE ROLE: Executive Assistant, Media Production, Operations and Engineering (Temporary)
A+E has an amazing opportunity for an Executive Assistant, Media Production, Operations and Engineering , providing administrative support to the leaders of A+E's three key media-focused operations and engineering teams: Production Operations, Content Services Operations, and Media Engineering and Broadcast Operations. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Facilitate and manage daily schedule of three executive leaders , screen calls, schedule meetings, and handle any requests as they come in
• Screen and route calls as necessary
• Maintain effective communication with the three executive leaders regarding calendar and changes to calendar as well as schedule reminders and planning upcoming senior meetings
• Maintain alertness to potential problems, always being proactive to avoid scheduling conflicts
• Create agendas and other meeting materials as required
• Schedule travel, create itineraries, provide overall assistance and support during travel
• Prepare expense reports using Concur database system
• Reconcile travel expenses with each leader's Corporate American Express card
• Perform various department tasks using in-house database systems (Carta AP, Debut, Airtable , Concur, Fabric, Jagger , S harepoint , LucidChart , Jira )
• Receive and coordinate production payment milestones, and route to Accounts Payable/Legal as necessary
• T r ack and assist with spe nding , including equipment purchases and accruals
• Overall coordination for department needs:
• File maintenance; clerical initiative and support
• Regular and organized communication with our suppliers
• Draft routine correspondence for leaders
• Conduct industry research for leaders as requested
• Share in providing administrative coverage, etc. for others in department , as necessary.
• Plan social events and c oordinate catering for group and dept events
• Conduct online surveys to gather and organize information for leadership team
• Backfill various administrator and coordinator responsibilities when needed; PTO, FMLA, etc
• Facilitate acute and special projects as required

• Represents executive leaders and their departments well
• You're a sleeve roller-upper who owns projects from end-to-end
• Desire to be helpful and thoughtful in any way needed to support the team and organization
• You know your way around Microsoft Office and are tech-savvy
• Demonstrated ability to grasp and quickly learn new technology or software
• 4-year college education, or equivalent life and/or work experience
• 2 + years administrative experience , preferably within a media and/or agency environment or another medium to large co mpany
• Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
CompensationContract Hourly Pay Rate: $45.00
The pay rate displayed serves as a good faith estimate for this role.
