Intern - Music Department

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Amuse Group USA, the US operations of a leading Japanese entertainment company (BABYMETAL, ONE OK ROCK, and Perfume) is seeking highly motivated interns for it's Santa Monica office. Amuse Group USA plans, coordinates, manages, and promotes various artists to perform in the U.S. as well as produce a variety of events and concerts.

Candidates preferably should have a genuine interest in music promotional business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Content and marketing research, as well as analyzing, reporting, and entering data.
-Being creative and understanding online & public PR opportunities. Supporting, engaging in brainstorming in this area across multiple -campaigns.
-Attend events and support for the department related events.
-General office duties including phone calls and helping out with administrative duties. Assisting other departments if support is needed and being great in customer services welcoming guests.

Candidate Qualification:

-Candidates must receive academic (School) credit to be eligible.
-Candidates are from Los Angeles, Orange County, Valley area being able to commute to the Santa Monica Office.
-Seeking individuals with a passion for music, strong written and verbal skills, and ''No task too small'' attitude.
-Organized with numbers, tracking, analyzing trends. Must understand and use Excel, PowerPoint, and Word on a daily basis.-Outgoing and up to date with current music trends.
-Interns must be available at least 2 days a week.

Plus Skills:

-Social Network, Microsoft Office, Google Applications, Adobe Creative Suite, and basic web/video editing.
-Event and live support (merch sales, set ups), digital marketing, publicity experience.
-Ahead of music trends globally.
-Japanese Bilingual is a big plus.
