Job Description:
The Arizona Diamondbacks are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead the social media strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy, driving fan engagement, and managing the team’s social media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the D-backs’ social assets are the primary source for team information, real-time updates, and engaging content for fans.
• Engage and grow the fanbase through social media platforms.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar.
• Ensure a consistent brand voice and identity across all social media platforms.
• Establish and achieve annual goals to increase reach, engagement, and business outcomes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the Diamondbacks at the forefront of social media innovation.
• Partner with content and creative teams to deliver high-quality content, including images, videos, and live broadcasts.
• Build an active, engaged online community, responding promptly and professionally to fan inquiries.
• Use data-driven insights to monitor, analyze, and optimize content performance.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of social media professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.
• Collaborate with other business units to integrate social media needs effectively.
