Intern, Ticket Sales and Services

Up to 40 hours per week

$12.00 per hour

January – October 2019

Primary Duties:
• Assist in the organization and execution of all special events for the Ticket Sales and Service department
• Provide superior and professional customer service to clients
• Assist in the creative concepts of ticket sales promotions: including flyers, mailers, website, and other support materials
• Learn all aspects of the ticket sales process
• Assist with administrative tasks with the Ticketmaster Ticketing System and in-house CRM application
• Game night responsibilities based on schedule of Ticket Sales departmental activities
• Help with ticket-related special events with Season Ticket Holders and ticket buying prospects
• Occasional off-site event responsibilities
• Assist with ticket and promotional mailings
• Other duties as assigned

Internship Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be a junior, senior, postgraduate student, or within a year post graduation with a preferred major of Sales, Marketing, Advertising or Communications, pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university. (If you do not meet the internship requirements, please do not apply.)
• Minimum of 20 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Highly-motivated with a desire to pursue a career in professional sports
• Detail-oriented, organized and the ability to multi-task
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred, but not required
• Working knowledge of MS Office software
• Demonstrates a positive and personable demeanor
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to work individually, or as part of a group, all while maintaining what's best for the team
