Part-Time/ Seasonal Lifeguard

This is a Part Time Job

We have an immediate need to hire seasonal Lifeguards to provide a safe environment and outstanding customer service for the Arizona Diamondbacks 2018 baseball season. 

Pay: $11/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies. 
• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to the supervisor.
• Prepare detailed incident or medical reports as necessary. 
• Ensure each visitor at the pool at Chase Field has an enjoyable and safe visit.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Ability to hear, comprehend and disseminate instructions and vital information, especially in the event of emergencies. 
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, speak and comprehend English.
• Ability to interact with staff, supervisors and the public while remaining friendly and professional.
• Must be reliable, helpful, alert and observant.
• Ability to work the entire event including pre and post-game activities.
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. 
• Must be able to work outdoors exposed to weather conditions (when Chase Field roof is open).
• Prior experience in a security or life safety profession is preferred, but not required.

To be considered for employment for the above position applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a High school Diploma or GED. 
• Must have current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 80% of home games per month during the 2018 season which includes days, nights, weekends and holidays. The 2018 schedule (subject to change) can be found at www.dbacks.com.
