Winter Intern - Live Events Coordinator

As our Event Coordinator Intern, you'll be at the heart of this mission, helping us plan and execute monthly events that inspire and educate the independent music community. In return, you'll gain invaluable experience in event planning, creative branding, and personal development, working closely with Hisham Dahud-ArtistPro's founder and a 20-year veteran in the music industry.
What You'll Do:
Venue Research & Outreach:
• Identify and secure both traditional and non-traditional venues for events, including speaking engagements, panels, creative workshops, and networking gatherings.
• Communicate with venue managers and coordinate event logistics.
Event Conceptualization:
• Collaborate on creative event concepts that align with ArtistPro's mission and values.
• Brainstorm engaging formats and activities for music industry professionals and artists.
Planning & Coordination:
• Assist in event scheduling, timelines, and communication with speakers and attendees.
• Help develop and manage event promotion plans.
Creative Collaboration:
• Bring fresh ideas to enhance the ArtistPro event experience.
• Work alongside ArtistPro's Founder and head of Artist Development unique personality into every event.
What We're Looking For:
• Self-starter with creative ideas and a can-do attitude.
• Passionate about music, creativity, and community-building.
• Strong interest in event planning and/or branding.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with the independent music industry or creative communities is a plus.
• Based in Los Angeles is preferred for venue outreach and occasional in-person involvement.
Commitment:
Approx. 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility around your schedule. Initial commitment: 3 months, with the possibility of extending.
