Camera Technician

This is a Part Time Job

We are currently seeking a Temporary Camera Technician to join our team. In this role, you will ensure all camera equipment is meticulously maintained, tested, and ready for client use while providing exceptional technical support.

Essential Responsibilities
• Conduct quality control (QC) checks on equipment returning from jobs, ensuring it is fully operational and re-kit items for future client use.
• Provide direct technical support to customers, addressing equipment-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
• Assist with routine maintenance and testing of professional camera equipment.
• Document and report equipment malfunctions, damages, or losses.
• Log and barcode inventory to maintain accurate equipment records.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment safely.
• Deliver equipment to clients or repair facilities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience
- 1-3 years of experience working with professional camera equipment. (e.g., Sony Venice 2, Alexa 35, Alexa mini LF, Sony Burano, Red Raptor, Fx3)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot camera equipment and accessories. (e.g., firmware update, wireless pairing, etc)
- Strong understanding of various camera systems, accessories, and workflows used in professional production environments
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment safely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* This is a part-time role - working 2-3 days a week.
