Retail Brand Ambassador

Who are we: A professional basketball team and state-of-the-art arena/entertainment venue that specializes in creating memorable experiences for each guest we interact with. Job Summary about the Retail Brand Ambassador role:

The Retail Brand Ambassador promotes our brands and ensures guests have a memorable experience shopping at State Farm Arena. You will engage guests to help find that perfect item that they must have. Every guest that comes in can help spread brand awareness; that's why it's so important for our Retail Brand Ambassadors to follow our service culture of S.M.I.L.E – Southern Hospitality, Make a Moment, Individuals Matter, Listen & Learn, and Empowerment.

What the Retail Brand Ambassador will be responsible for :
• Promote our brand and product in a positive and enthusiastic manner
• Engage our guests to create a unique and individualized experience
• Greet, sell and up-sell Hawks merchandise to our guests
• Open and close our retail stores while handling accurate bank and store keys
• Control and maintain accurate merchandise inventory
• Supervise, teach, and assist store associates to maximize sales potential
• Assist Retail Managers and Lead Ambassadors in-store operations
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment for the health and safety of team members and guests

What the Retail Brand Ambassador needs to have Required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to adapt to different guest interactions and situations
• Willingness to learn and be able to work well within a team
• Punctuality and reliability are a must
• Outstanding and welcoming personality and work ethic
• Flexible schedule and ability to work late hours, weekends, long nights, and holidays. Must have availability to work 80% of scheduled events monthly

Education and Experience:

• Previous cash and credit card handling with a POS system experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to stand for 4 hours during shifts
