A summary of the Flight Crew role: The Hawks are looking for outgoing, engaging, and professional candidates to apply for the Atlanta Hawks Flight Crew team. The Flight Crew is a group within the Brand Experience and Activation (BEA) department, which falls under the larger umbrella of Live Experience and Production (LEP) department.
Under the direction of the BEA team, members of the Flight Crew will bring the Hawks brand to life and build the Hawks brand, both inside and outside of State Farm Arena. The position can be broken down into two buckets. The first bucket – activation – includes fully crafted, Hawks branded appearances where the team has a footprint that includes any (or all) of the following: Pop-A-Shots, branded tents/signage, prizes, photo backdrops, and more. The Flight Crew engages the guests/crowd using their upbeat personalities and shares specific messaging about the Hawks, upcoming events/games, new retail offerings, and/or sales opportunities. The Flight Crew can be seen activating on the concourse at Hawks games and out of the arena at fairs, festivals, races, basketball camps, corporate events, community outreach events, and more. The second bucket – experience – includes all instances where the Flight Crew brings the party to life through chanting, dancing, singing, high fiving, and more! Like activations, experiences are both at games and also out of the arena events. The Flight Crew enhances the in-game experience for fans, predominantly sitting in the upper bowl. The Flight Crew performs at various events through choreographed team cheers/dances as well as individual interactions and entertainment. Collectively, this team represents the Hawks at 150+ events/activations a year.
