If you have an interest in delving into the intricacies of Atlanta, understanding the challenges faced by its communities, and analyzing systemic patterns and trends, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) internship is worth considering.
As a DEI intern, you will play a crucial role in collecting data to contribute to the broader narrative of Atlanta. The internship involves exploring the city's history and its journey to the present, dissecting data that contributes to shaping the narrative of our city.
Additionally, you will examine the DEI journey in corporate spaces and contribute to transforming our perspectives on this domain. Furthermore, the intern will actively contribute to the planning and execution of the She Leads Women's Empowerment Summit and provide support in facilitating our Cultural Listening Labs.
These initiatives serve as avenues for our organization to forge profound connections with diverse demographics across our city.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data collection, analysis and reporting
• City narrative and corporate DEI journey exploration
• Event planning and execution
• Workshop facilitation
• Other Duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU) as a rising Junior and Senior.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research skills
• Ability to contribute to the planning and execution of events and small group discussions
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Demonstrates ability to take initiative and be proactive
• Field of Study: Marketing, Business, Communications, and Analytics
• Minimum 2.75 GPA
