The Project Management Intern will report to the Senior Project Manager and will assist the PMO with a variety of enterprise, technology and construction-based projects. This position will manage turnkey signage & graphics requests, assist with project administrative duties and support PMO with inter-departmental efforts for the Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena.
Key Responsibilities:
• Signage & Graphics: Support PMO with intake and execution of signage & graphics requests for State Farm Arena
• Smartsheet Administration: Learn fundamentals of Smartsheet and assist PMO with archiving proposals, invoices, digital assets, data and other project documentation as needed
• Meeting Support: Assist with inter-departmental meetings including note taking, project tracker management and project recaps
• Job Site Project Progress Documentation: Attend site visits, capture project progress photos, upload data to Smartsheet, support project delivery/installations, including Arena booking requests, Security notices, calendar management and vendor scheduling
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU) as a rising Junior and Senior.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication
• Time Management Skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to work collaboratively and desire to learn
Preferred Qualifications
• Field of Study: Business Management, Sports Management, Engineering, Communications, Hospitality or related field
• Minimum 2.75 GPA
