About the Role
The Director of Logistics & Warehouse Operations owns BallerTV's logistics and fulfillment strategy, overseeing both event-driven filming equipment distribution and the fulfillment operations of our direct-to-consumer hardware business. This leader will drive cost efficiency, process optimization, and team management to scale our high-volume operations.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on leadership role-one that requires flexibility and an ownership mindset. BallerTV is launching new products and business lines, and this role will be at the center of ensuring they operate seamlessly.
What You'll Do
• Oversee logistics strategy for our event-based filming operations, ensuring equipment is shipped, returned, QA'd, and redeployed efficiently.
• Optimize shipping strategies using vans, third-party carriers, local storage facilities, and occasional freight solutions.
• Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Partner with the BallerTV events team to forecast and plan tournament logistics needs.
• Own and manage the shipping cost budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing quality or timeliness.
• Improve equipment turn times to reduce CapEx needs and extend asset utilization.
• Manage fulfillment operations for the direct-to-consumer hardware business, including order processing, inventory storage, and returns.
• Quarterback the annual procurement process, modeling event-driven equipment needs vs. available inventory.
• Develop a lifecycle replacement plan for equipment inventory that accounts for shrinkage, loss data, and expected asset lifespan.
• Conduct physical inventory audits multiple times per year, collaborating with the Finance team.
• Refine and evolve our proprietary WMS (Warehouse Management System), working with the Product team to improve accuracy, tracking, and automation.
• Co-manage warehouse associates alongside your Warehouse Manager (direct report), with ultimate leadership responsibility for the team.
• Lead and develop warehouse teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure a continuous feedback loop, process improvements, and team alignment.
What We're Looking For
• 8 years of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain leadership experience
• Proven team management skills in high-volume operations
• Strong data analysis & budgeting expertise
• Experience in inventory tracking & fulfillment processes
• Process improvement mindset (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
• Excellent communication & cross-functional collaboration skills
What to Expect in This Role
• This is not just a standard 9-to-5 logistics job-our busy seasons and peak weekends require a leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Team Oversight: You will directly and indirectly oversee 5-10 full-time and contract warehouse associates.
• Inventory Complexity: BallerTV manages about a dozen unique SKUs but operates at a high volume, fast-turn logistics environment.
• Shipping & Processing Volume:
• During peak weeks, the warehouse will process thousands of inventory pieces.
• Equipment will be packed into hundreds of standardized shipping cases.
• Shipments will go out to up to 75 different locations across the U.S. via third-party carriers while shipments from the week before will be returning back to the warehouse
• Peak weekends will require extended shifts-including double shifts or weekend availability as needed.
• You may need to be on-call during major event weekends to ensure logistics run smoothly.
• BallerTV has different business areas that operate like mini-startups within the organization-we need someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to change, and proactive in solving problems.
• We look for leaders who act like owners, not renters-taking full responsibility for their domain, thinking strategically, and ensuring the team delivers results.
• The culture at BallerTV is built around franchise-first thinking, continuous iteration, and rapid scaling.
