Job Summary
The Director, Facilities supervises all aspects of building management at all Company office locations to ensure operational efficiency and employee safety. The Director, Facilities tracks all department expenditures to comply with Facilities budget. This person supervises a staff of up to eight employees and consistently ensures excellent customer service. This role requires the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities
• Inter-Office Communication
• Make frequent rounds of the premises to ensure smooth building operations
• Communicate with all employees and address concerns as appropriate
• Ensure building is clean and organized
• Assess departmental processes regularly to ensure operational efficiency and adjusts as appropriate
• Communicate relevant details of building maintenance, repairs and Operational updates to all Endemol Shine, Bunim Murray Productions, and 51 Minds employees.
• Supervise all Aspects of Building Management
• Ensure building & equipment maintenance and repairs are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with requisite safety standards
• Continue FLS maintenance of building and parking structure at 1015 and 1011 locations.
• Facilitate inter-office moves/desk re-assignments for both corporate and freelance employees
• Maintain inventory of all office equipment/assets
• Oversee inventory/ordering of office supplies and craft services and ensure compliance with budget constraints
• 24/7 Emergency contact for all three locations (2 in NoHo and 1 in Glendale)
• Main point of contact for Landlords at all buildings.
• Oversee Facilities Team
• Helps in facilitating internal and external events, including rehearsals, setups, and cleanup.
• Hire and train all team members: Manager, Facilities, Facilities Assistants, PA's, Receptionist; provide continuous feedback on job performance and retrain as necessary
• Meet with staff regularly to assess performance, address concerns, and discuss career goals
• Monitor individual assignments to ensure completion of all responsibilities
• Facilitate department meetings to address concerns and set goals
• Monitor, track and report key cost saving opportunities to reduce expenses and stay on track with budget.
• Vendors
• Maintain positive relationships with all vendors
• Assess performance and provide feedback
• Hire new vendors as appropriate
Additional Responsibilities
• Storage
• Physical assets: maintain on-site storage locations
• Secure Document Storage: Maintain detailed inventory of secure off-site storage; facilitate filing and retrieval of all new and current inventory
• Shipping
• Oversee corporate USPS and FedEx shipping; audit accounts to assure compliance with corporate policy
• Messenger Service
• Facilitate ''PA Runs'' and messenger service in the greater Los Angeles Area
• Subscriptions
• Monitor all corporate subscriptions; renew as necessary
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 4-5 years of experience in corporate setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Excel
• Attention to detail and a consistently pro-active manner
• Professional, friendly demeanor with excellent customer service skills and a ''can-do'' attitude
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on policy and procedure writing
• Skilled multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Must work well under pressure
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Position Compensation
At Banijay Americas, we understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits program and offer a competitive package including paid time off and 401k plan, with a salary range of $90,000-$105,000 depending on experience.

$90,000.00 - 105,000.00 per year
