Premiere Pro Video Editor

BassBuzz.com is looking for a meticulous, detail-obsessed video editor to help produce a music course. You'll be working remotely with our Lead Editor in Adobe Premiere Pro to create high-quality video lessons.

We need an editor who thrives in a structured workflow, with an eye for spotting the tiniest details. Having some musical knowledge would be a bonus to help with syncing visuals to beats (no worries if you don't, you'll pick it up fast, groove is in the heart).

This position will be a 6-month contract, and is 100% remote.

What You'll Do:

• Follow scripts, templates, and brand guidelines to ensure a uniform look and feel across lessons
• Animate musical graphics with frame-perfect timing, adding text overlays and motion graphics
• Organize and sync footage efficiently, ensuring all assets are correctly placed
• Collaborate remotely with the team, incorporating detailed feedback with precision

What We're Looking For:

• You have an eye for design, which results in consistent, high-quality vids. Consistent and recognizable brand identity is important to us, mish-mash and inconsistent makes us sad
• You know how to apply perfectionist-mode polish. ''Scoot that 20px to the left! The edge of that transition clipped! This audio is 50ms out of sync!'' (you seem to say as you watch through an edit)
• You can follow guidelines but also bring fresh ideas. There will be specific standards and styles to edit for our brand, but we also want you to bring fresh and better ideas to the table.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects experience is a bonus)
