About the Role
Bethesda Repertory Theatre is seeking an Assistant Director for our upcoming production of ''My Brother's Keeper'' at Boston Court Pasadena in June. This role is ideal for a passionate theatre artist who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Director during pre-production and rehearsals
• Attend all rehearsals starting April 27th (Tues/Wed evenings, 6-10PM)
• Assist with script analysis, blocking, and rehearsal logistics
• Provide feedback and support to the creative team and cast
• Help facilitate a productive and inclusive rehearsal space
Requirements
• Based in the Los Angeles area with reliable transportation
• Previous experience in theatrical production (directing, stage management, or related roles)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A team player with a community-driven mindset
