Bethesda Repertory Theatre is seeking Producing Interns to join the team of our current production, ''My Brother's Keeper'', being presented in June on the Main Stage at Boston Court Pasadena.
This is an unpaid internship ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the producing side of nonprofit theatre. The internship begins immediately and runs through the duration of the production, concluding June 16th.
**Interns will be credited as Associate Producers.
Time Commitment:
• Minimum of 5 hours per week, both remotely and in person.
• Must be based in the Los Angeles area and have reliable transportation.
• Must be available in person for tech rehearsals on June 11 & 12, and performances from June 13-15
• The production concludes in June, with the opportunity to continue in an ongoing internship if desired
Who You Are:
• A theatre artist or arts administrator with a solid background in theatre (educational or practical)
• Passionate about storytelling, collaboration, and leadership
• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
• A strong communicator with a creative mindset
• Interested in developing producing skills in a professional rehearsal and performance environment
• Those with Photography and Graphic Design skills are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do:
• Assist with daily producing tasks including scheduling, communication, documentation, and production logistics
• Support rehearsals and events as needed
• Contribute ideas and problem-solve with a collaborative, production-minded team
• Gain insight into the producing process of a new work in a respected Los Angeles venue
