Associate Producer

Job Description:
Billboard is seeking an Associate Producer to join the video team. In this dynamic role, you will assist with creative and logistical aspects of video production, ensuring projects are executed efficiently. The role involves producing video content, supporting on-set production, and handling logistical planning for Billboard’s coverage of major music events, awards shows, and festivals.
Responsibilities:
• Support all aspects of production including research, equipment management, and on-set production.
• Update and send out production call sheets.
• Manage releases for all series.
• Provide research and creative support for interviews and content opportunities.
• Collaborate with the News team and hosts on selecting stories, writing scripts, and sourcing assets.
• Manage individual projects from conception to post-production and distribution.
• Assist with event production, including booking locations and coordinating travel logistics.
• Secure credentials for crews at events, awards shows, and festivals.
Requirements:
• Experience: 1-3 years in video production, preferably at a media company or publisher.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in production processes, software, and equipment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Other Qualities: Proactive, hands-on, flexible, and passionate about music and media production; willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
