Job Description:
Billboard, the leading authority in music media, is hiring a Shortform Content Director to drive its social-first content strategy. This role involves working closely with the Chief Brand Officer and Social Director to create and execute engaging shortform content across Billboard’s social channels, including coverage of award shows, festivals, sports events, and conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead on-platform content strategy for social media channels
• Develop and implement recurring social franchises beyond standard article and video amplification
• Oversee live coverage of major events and tours on social platforms
• Collaborate with genre leads to create social content for handles like Billboard Hip-Hop, Billboard Dance, and Billboard Charts
• Create monthly analytics reports, tracking monetization and audience growth
Workplace Requirements:
• In-office 4 days a week, 1 day remote; based in New York or Los Angeles

Compensation:
