Black Ink Presents, a subsidiary of Terrapin Station Entertainment and Sony Music Masterworks, is searching for a highly skilled Director, Touring and Production. This position requires a seasoned live entertainment professional with a deep understanding of production and touring. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of tours, from identifying talent to overseeing logistics and finances. Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills are essential.
What you'll do:
• Day to day artist production and project management.
• Identify potential talent and touring opportunities.
• Design comprehensive strategies and implementation for non-traditional tours.
• Oversee and direct touring logistics top to bottom including creative, production, scheduling, travel, and staffing.
• Manage and direct all partners and external teams, including VIP programs, ticketing, merchandise, promoter partners, etc.
• Create budget and manage finances for tour production and touring projects.
• Collaborate closely with talent and content team.
Who you are:
• 7 years of experience in touring with a strong understanding of the entertainment industry landscape.
• Prior experience in production / tour management areas of touring.
• Strong relationships with a wide variety of vendors in the touring industry, including lighting, sound, video, merchandise, staging, VIP, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Ability to develop and execute creative, innovative tour concepts and logistics.
• Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data.
• Must be able to multitask, be detail oriented with a strong emphasis on organization and communication.
• A positive attitude with an ability to adapt to various situations and personalities under pressure.
• Note that work on nights and weekends will be necessary, as will frequent travel.

Salary/Benefits
$90,000.00 - 105,000.00 per year
The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
California Pay Range
$90,000 - $105,000 USD
