Production Assistant (Temporary)
Bleacher Report is seeking a sports-obsessed Production Assistant to be a hands-on member of the live production team. This entry-level position would assist with the production of hundreds of live shows a month, encompassing everything from creator-led streams and current athlete video podcasts to on-site shows at tentpole events . Responsibilities will also include pre-production work, such as ideation and research a s well as post-production content reviews and quality control . This is the perfect role for a hardworking , team player interested in starting their career in digital storytelling / sports production.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Provide support for all BR live productions
• Ideate around topical storylines in sports to help determine content of live streams
• Use photoshop to create thumbnails & other light-design work for l ive streams
• Edit video (Adobe Premiere) for highlight package s
• Identify & spotlight notable comments/questions during l ive streams for h ost to react to
• Curate the best of so cial m edia to be integrated into Livestreams
Qualifications & Experiences
• Strong contextual sports knowledge
• Fundamental Production skills
• Great attention to detail and creative mindset
• Strong communication skills -- calls, email, Slack
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds
