DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Brand Solutions team sits within the Sales and Representation division at Fenway Sports Management, helping power the organization's partnership sales efforts. The Brand Solutions team serves as an internal ''brand marketer'' - responsible for building compelling partnership stories, identifying new platforms and commercial opportunities, and creating impactful, exciting solutions for brands that authentically complement and align with our world-class properties.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Coordinator, Brand Solutions, will serve as a vital contributor to FSM's Boston Partnerships team, supporting an array of prestigious brands and entities, including the Boston Red Sox, Boston Common Golf, New England Sports Network (NESN), The MGM Music Hall at Fenway and Live Nation, WEEI Sports Radio Network, The Boston Globe, and Fenway Park Special Events. This role encompasses a dynamic range of responsibilities, including the development of compelling pitch decks and storytelling narratives, innovative platforms and thought-starters, pipeline and project management, inventory awareness and approvals, and creation of additional impactful marketing materials that can be utilized by the sales team. Acting as the organizational backbone of the team, this role requires someone who is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, ability to manage and execute multiple projects at once, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating impactful brand partnerships that drive results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the development of all sales materials and presentations for FSM Boston properties alongside FSM sales, insights and creative teams.
• Liaise and collaborate to ensure sales materials align with the company's brand voice and objectives alongside the property's goals, incorporating a mix of ''art and science'' as it comes together.
• Maintain organization and awareness of available property inventory.
• Assist on pipeline management, weekly reporting, and CRM organization.
• Assist in evolving the go-to-market narrative and evergreen materials.
• Support the development and ideation of commercial marketing platforms across FSM's Boston properties.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal business stakeholders and departments for necessary collaboration on partnership concepts.
CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, Sports Management, or similar field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience with brand strategy, creative marketing, activation, and/or sponsorship sales in a team, league, brand, agency or corporate setting.
• Passion for sports marketing, media, promotions, and sponsorship sales.
• High level of integrity and ethics, both professional and personal.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong storytelling capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented and relationship-minded.
• Motivated by thinking ''outside of the box'' and problem-solving.
• Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail, adept at organizing, multitasking, and executing tasks independently in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SharePoint.
• CRM experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel, work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
