DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Creative Services group within Fenway Sports Management oversees and develops innovative partnership presentation materials for all Fenway Sports Group owned and operated properties, as well 3rd party representation. The creative group aims to elevate visuals and narratives surrounding all produced materials, including decks, design, video and multimedia.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Video Editor for Fenway Sports Management is a new position poised to help produce and edit video and multimedia for purposes of prospective FSG property partnership sales, and overall Fenway Sports Group brand assets. Working alongside the FSM Creative Services team, this producer will help ideate and execute innovative storytelling visuals to help drive narratives across different platforms and proposals being presented to prospective partners. Furthermore, this person will take the lead on collaboration with existing video departments across all FSG properties to in order to align with libraries, team assets, and existing materials to produce from.
New York City's Pay Transparency laws require disclosure of salary ranges in job advertisements and the base salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $80,000-$90,000..
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create visually appealing and impactful video packages that showcase FSG's properties (Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Penguins, Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing, Liverpool FC, LPGA, Boston Common Golf, PGA TOUR, LRMR, MGM Music Hall, NESN), property platforms, and sales efforts to clients interested in partnerships within the FSG family.
• Lead the Creative team in producing short-form video editing of FSG property sizzle materials, infographic and metric animation, and short-form multimedia creation.
• Translate complex information and statistics into highly-visual infographic animations that demonstrate property and partner narrative, creative balance, and brand creative direction.
• In addition to FSM Sales, assist FSG Strategy and Boston Common Golf with video execution needs, including concepts, production, and editing of materials.
• Bring fresh ideas for modern and innovative video concepts and methods
• Stay current with presentation trends/presentation software to improve the quality of our overall pitches.
• Help contribute to and develop plan alongside FSM Creative Services as we build a library and DAM solution for central FSG media assets.
CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4-5 years of relevant agency, sports team, or similar video editing motion animation experience required.
• Bachelors degree in Video or Film Editing, Production, or similar field strongly preferred.
• Portfolio with proven experience required.
• Enjoy working in an extremely fast paced sales environment, with a creative point of view.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and video editing and motion graphic/animation.
• Understanding of sports sales and sponsorship strategy, business development and global marketing.
• Talented multi-tasker, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with various deadlines.
• Experience with ScorePlay Digital Asset Manager a plus.
