This is a Full Time Job
Buchwald is seeking an eager & motivated Assistant to join our Literary Department. This opportunity is currently available in-person, in our Los Angeles office. This is an entry-level position that requires initiative while learning on the job. Interest in becoming a literary agent is essential.
This position will work closely with literary agents to support talent outreach, communication, and development of the Literary Department. Candidates need to be organized, ambitious, detail-oriented and computer savvy, and have strong administrative skills. Must be able to multi-task, handle a heavy volume of calls and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College is preferred.
• Experience within a talent agency or management company highly preferred.
• Entertainment and agency internship experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of InEntertainment, and Airtable is a plus but not required.
• Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams and OneDrive), Zoom, and DocuSign.
• Desire to grow within the agency.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong networking and communication skills, with exceptional phone etiquette.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
• Collaborative team player.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
COMPENSATION
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20- $21/hr. This position also is eligible for full-time employee benefits. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
